DMDL, INC. is seeking a qualified Illinois-certified teacher to provide targeted academic supplemental tutoring in literacy and math for students in grades 5 through 9. This role will support students through small-group and individualized instruction aligned to academic goals and learning needs.
Requirements:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Wilson Reading System Certification
- Experience tutoring or teaching literacy and math to 5 – 9 grade learners
- Ability to work independently
Position Details:
- Independent Worker providing after-school academic tutoring support
- In-person supplemental instruction to students in small-group and/or individualized settings
- Schedule and hours based on independent worker’s availability
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide after-school tutoring in literacy and math
- Deliver structured literacy instruction using the Wilson Reading System
- Work with students in grades 5–9
- Provide basic student progress documentation as required
Compliance:
- Proof of licensure and certification
- Background check clearance
